SAFTA is again offering our Grand concours de poésie récitée for primary students.However, we have made a few adaptions, which we hope will make your lives simpler and enable you to engage your students whether they are learning from home or school.
Along with the poems in written form, we include audio recordings for you to share with your students.e are not offering a group poem for year 6-7.
Bilingual students are welcome to enter the competition at their age level, or an older category.We ask you to indicate on the registration form whether a student is bilingual, or is part of a bilingual program. They will be judged separately from L2 students.
All attachments are provided as word documents and PDFs, to allow you to cut and paste to suit your needs and to save you from having to print and scan.
To enable you to send us your entries digitally, we suggest you use the platform WeTransfer.firstname.lastname@example.org .However, if you prefer to send your recordings on a USB, Marcia McLachlan is collecting entries at her school.It is very simple and allows you to send up to 2 GB for free.
